Food industry entrepreneurs Pawan and Abhinav Arora launched Shivani almost ten years ago with a decade of experience under their belts. Previous owners of 3 thriving Nando’s locations and proud owners of their own Indian dining hall business IndiaGate, the two knew exactly what to do when they saw a gap in the market for authentic Indian food delivered to a casual-dining market. Other restaurants promised real Indian food, though it was rarely regional or diverse, failing to showcase the country's rich cuisine. Pawan and Abhinav vowed to change that, taking their fine dining experience into the fast-casual landscape to bring customers the flavours they would experience back home. Since then, Shivani has fast become a favourite amongst locals in locations around NZ. Earning a reputation for excellence in the industry and with a long history of local acts of service, the brothers have built a brand that the community in both India and New Zealand support and trust.
