Officially launched in 2017 by Tim and Nicola Dorrington, Mould Inspections really started 7 years prior when Tim started testing moulds in 2010, working in the building industry. He’d worked on commercial and residential builds in the UK for 35 years and was familiar with the ventilation measures required to prevent mould in new projects. He recognised these measures were lacking upon his move to New Zealand and saw a need for serious mould solutions across the country. Passionate about the effects of poor ventilation in New Zealand, Tim quickly became the most certified Mould Inspector in New Zealand after attaining a qualification at the Australian College of Environmental Studies. This put Mould Inspections on the map, and they’ve since become recognised as the gold standard for mould testing, reporting and treatment across residential, commercial, and government sectors. As well as being the highest certified mould inspector in the country, Tim is a successful entrepreneur, having branched into other ventilation and air purification businesses in the years since with enormous success.
