Mike Reading’s vision for UTB stems from a deep-seated passion for helping others thrive through technology. From his early days as an educator exploring intrinsic motivation models, Mike has been on a mission to empower teachers, students, and businesses alike.

Mike founded Teacher Training International in 2010, later evolving it into Using Technology Better (UTB) in 2013. Partnering with global tech leaders such as Google, Microsoft, and Apple, Mike has built a world-class consultancy team dedicated to driving transformative change. Over the past decade, Mike has trained more than 145k individuals, delivering 27k sessions to 12k organisations across the APAC region and beyond. His work has helped educators reignite their passion for teaching and businesses optimise workflows, making Mike’s vision a reality.
