Mickor Electrical is committed to giving young electricians an opportunity to work for themselves in ‘supported self-employment’ within the Mickor franchise model. A big focus is on providing ongoing business and industry mentorship to franchisees, teaching the practical and leadership skills required to run a successful electrical business. Primarily focused in the commercial, industrial and educational sectors, Head Office looks after tenders and contract acquisition on behalf of franchisees and also provides marketing support to ensure a constant flow of leads and enquiries.
Mickor was created by father and son Mike and Ryan Ridderhof, and with over 40 years’ electrical experience between them they are considered two of the regions most experienced electricians. The duo is passionate about helping young electricians learn the business from the ground up by creating skills for long-term success which they have been doing for the past several years with their own team.
