Bernard Powell, the owner of Premier Group had his own small landscaping business in 2003 when he bought Premier Pavers, hoping to offer a wider variety of pavers to tradies just like him. Before long, Premier Pavers had expanded to incorporate Premier Bricks and built key accounts with major retailers including Mitre 10 and Bunnings Warehouse. Eventually these partnerships led to the development of exclusive product lines for Bunnings Warehouse that continue to be sold throughout New Zealand and Australia. Now, Premier Group is expanding again to grow the latest branch of the business, Premier Landscapes. With the incorporation of Premier Landscapes, customers can have their brick, pavement and landscaping needs delivered by one company. Not only does this simplify and streamline clients’ projects, it also increases Premier Group’s market share and profitability.
