Tom O’Neil is the Managing Director of CV.CO.NZ and as a multi-award-winning keynote speaker and international careers and personal development author his professional repertoire packs a punch.
Published and featured throughout a wide range of local and global media, Tom is the Careers Expert for TV3 (including Discovery Channel and Radio Magic) and has been a business columnist and feature writer for the NZ Herald for almost a decade. As well as this, Tom has also been a featured in The Economist and the Harvard Business Review in relation to careers and personal development, as well as being a regular contributor to the world’s best-selling career guide ‘What Color Is Your Parachute’.
His experience comes from a combination of his qualifications in social sciences and perceptual psychology, as well as the three successful recruitment agencies he built and developed early in his career. After consulting independently for a number of years, then working for Deloitte as a Human Resources Management Consultant, , Tom went on to launch CV.CO.NZ while he wrote and co-authored a series of bestselling career and personal leadership guides. His many titles include: ‘YOU'RE HIRED’ - The Essential Guide to Personal Branding and Job Hunting’, ‘The 1% Principle’, and the recently released ‘The New Rules of Job Hunting’.
